Advent 2008

The Old Testament spoke of the “Coming One”, thus we celebrate the advent, the coming, of the Babe of Bethlehem, Jesus Christ. But the Church is bracketed between “comings”, so in this Advent season, we also anticipate Christ’s promised second coming in judgment. Finally, by his Word, we experience Christ’s continuous coming to strengthen His people.
